Disgraceful : Pfaltzgraff Country Cupboard 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4
After 25 years of using a sturdy set of Corelle-type dishes, I was totally ready and excited to ultimately be purchasing a new set of dinnerware. I fell in love with this pattern and didn't mind splurging a little, especially since I belief Pfaltzgraff's dinnerware would have been worth it; however, I was sadly mistaken! I noticed immediately that several of the plates were warped and that within the first combine of weeks, several of the plates and bowls had begun to chip around the edges. In just 4 short months of general every day usage, three of the bowls have already fully shattered, most of the bowls and several plates have hairline cracks, discoloration, and major chipping. I would Never purchase someone else set or suggest anyone else to buy dinnerware from Pfaltzgraff. Next time I'm going to go with my instincts and purchase Fiesta Ware, although it will cost more - it will be worth it since it is made in America and all the time gets excellent reviews. Hope this helps man else from production the same frustrating mistake that I have made in purchasing a cupboard full of over-priced, low quality dinnerware.
